Courses are different from our regular drop-in yoga classes. They offer small groups and usually consist of five 90 minute sessions over 5 weeks.
In addition to yoga asanas, they cover topics such as positive thinking, meditation, yoga philosophy and psychology, ayurveda and other healing modalities, as well as all aspects of yoga practice and theory.
Beginner’s Yoga courses (Yoga 1 and Yoga 2) give everyone a chance to be guided individually and with special care. All 5 sessions in the course are led by the same teacher and students register for all 5 sessions. This enables a relationship to be developed between the teacher and students and among the students themselves.
Apart from Yoga 1 and 2, all yoga philosophy and psychology courses are taught by Swami Omkarananda, director of the center. Visiting presenters teach some of the specialized courses.
Please Note: A minimum of three people are required to begin courses.
People are more important to us than money. No one will be turned away due to financial hardship. Please contact us to make special arrangements.
